BE PREPARED!

BEFORE CAMP

CAMPER FEES
A deposit of $50.00 mus be submitted with you camper's application. The balance must be paid in full before June  1, 2010.  If you camper has benefits through D.D.D./D.S.H.S., you must provide a note from your Case Manager confirming they will pay no later than June 1, 2010.  Limited financial assistance is available, when submitting your application please include a note requesting the "Campership Application". 


SPECIAL DIET
If a special diet, dietary restrictions or certain kinds of food are required, please be sure this is noted on your application. Our Food Service Manager, Nadine Jonientz, will contact you to discuss any special dietary needs and what items you will need to provide. 


HEALTH EXAMINATION FORM for Children/Adults Attending Camp.
This form must  be completed by an approved, licensed medical provider and received by the camp prior to June 1, 2010.  [The exam is required every 2 years.]

MEDICATION LIST
This form is part of the application packet and must be returned with your camper's application in order to be considered for registration.   

EMERGENCY TRANSPORT PROTOCOL
Please read and keep for your information.

CAMP ARRIVAL

Check-in time begins at noon on  Monday and runs until 2:00PM.  No early arrivals please . . . we do not start before 12:00PM. 
As lunch is not served on Mondays, please make sure your camper eats before arriving, or, bring a picnic/sack lunch to enjoy before checking in.

THINGS TO PACK 
 Remember to clearly label all belongings and complete the Inventory Worksheet!!

CLOTHING:
In addition to summer clothing, bring warmer clothing, as it can get chilly in the evenings. Bring: comfortable shoes, personal gear (i.e. toiletries), sweater/sweatshirt, coat, cap and one extra set of clothes (always needed).


DRESS-UP THEMES
Each night at dinner we will have a dress-up theme.  These themes change each year so check your information packet and pack a costume for each night.


TALENT SHOW 
On Thursday nights, we have a TALENT SHOW! Our counselors will assist the campers to prepare for this activity during camp, but if you have any ideas, please pack the necessary items needed for the camper and advise the counselor during check-in.


MEDICATIONS
All medications must be in original containers!!!   Medications must be clearly labeled with the name, dispensing instructions and the physician who prescribed it. WE CANNOT PROCESS REFILLS  - make sure you provide enough to cover one week.

During the check-in process, you will meet with the Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner to review all medications and review any medical issues. 


CHECK LIST

A checklist of items to pack for camp will be included in your confirmation packet. 

PLEASE DO NOT BRING:  Candy, snack foods, soda or energy drinks, alcoholic beverages or tobacco products.  No food or beverages are allowed in the tents.  Please leave the family pet(s) home when you drop off your camper.

DEPARTURE FROM CAMP

Campers must be picked up at noon on Friday,  no exceptions.  We invite you to attend the  Campers' Awards Ceremony which begins at 11:00AM. No lunch will be served on Friday so bring a box lunch for your camper.
